Antique Victorian Amethyst Pearl Pendant 15Ct Yellow Gold Circa 1900

A delightful Antique Victorian pendant fashioned in 15ct Yellow Gold and decorated with Pearls and four deep purple Amethysts, three of which hang from fancy droppers.

Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and deep purple colouring which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.

The pendant features wonderful foliate motifs and is suspended from chains attached to the bale. It would look beautiful on a Gold chain and is a stunning example of the splendour of the Victorian era.
